These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the IpQuery.Info website and API ("Service"), operated by Yakware, Ltd. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.

1. Accounts

You are responsible for safeguarding your API keys and account credentials and for all activity that occurs under them. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use.

2. Free trial & subscriptions

We offer a 15-day free trial subject to a request quota. Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe and renew automatically until cancelled. Quotas and pricing for each tier are shown on our Pricing page.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• exceed, circumvent, or attempt to circumvent your plan's request limits or rate limits;
• use the Service to unlawfully identify, track, or harass individuals;
• resell, redistribute, or republish the raw underlying geolocation or network databases (MaxMind, DB-IP, RIPE) — you may use the per-query results within your own application;
• interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.

4. Data accuracy

IP intelligence is inherently probabilistic. The Service is provided for informational purposes and we make no guarantee that any result — including geolocation, VPN/proxy, or threat classification — is accurate or complete. You should not use results as the sole basis for decisions that materially affect an individual.

5. Third-party data & attribution

The Service incorporates data from MaxMind, DB-IP, and the RIPE NCC. Your use of results must comply with the attribution and licensing requirements of those providers where applicable.

6. Availability

We aim for high availability but the Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Yakware, Ltd. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability shall not exceed the amounts you paid for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

You may cancel at any time from your Account & Billing page. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
